而中国的骑车族却有些麻木，他们骑自行车完全是出于需要。同时，中国人看起来似乎很讨厌自己的自行车。他们尽可能低价购买自行车，还会对自行车拳打脚踢，任由车子在风中被吹倒，也从来不去修理它们。他们让自行车慢慢生锈然后完全烂掉，当车子一无是处的时候就扔掉它们。中国人似乎仅仅把自行车当成代步的工具，等有了更性感更拉风的车子之后就把它们抛弃掉。这种心理分歧会时不时让我心中涌起一种令人丧气的心理挣扎。我害怕当我把那套加拿大的交通价值观带到中国来的时候，我会像圆凿上的方枘一样，显得格格不入。

    I know that North Americans suffer from hurry sickness and do everything maniacally fast, so I can appreciate the "slow go" sentiment of China, but when I'm going somewhere I like to know that I will arrive there sometime today.
