Acclaimed Croatian pianist Maksim Mrvica has returned with his fourth album Electrik and fans of his trademark classical crossover style are sure not to be disappointed. Known for integrating synthesizers, drum beats, and electronica into his classical style pieces, Mrvica has teamed up once again with Tonci Huljic, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and industry pros such as producer Jonathan Allen (Prodigy, Bjork) and German film composer Hans Zimmer to create an electrifying hybrid sound that, at moments, rises to considerable heights.
