    In May 2004, Pizza Hut delivery driver Ronald Honeycutt was attacked while making a delivery by a man with a gun. Honeycutt, holder of a concealed carry permit, shot and killed his attacker before surrendering to the police, who let him go free. However, Pizza Hut later fired him for carrying a weapon to work, causing outcry among gun owners everywhere. Again, the question comes up: should he have killed the man pointing a gun at him? Pizza Hut company policy requires that any staff member involved in a robbery complies with the robber – it's easier to make a new pizza than to bring an employee back from the dead. But when a man points a gun at you, what's more important – obeying company doctrine, or possibly losing your life?
