    【Abstract】ObjectiveToanalyze thecharacteristicchanges intheserum levelsof intercellularadhesionmolecule-1 (ICAM-1)，oxidized low-density lipoprotein(ox-LDL)，andvascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)inpatients with type2diabetes melltus(T2DM)complicatedbyinsomnia，soas toexploretheirclinicalsignificance.MethodsAtotalof 108 T2DMpatients admitted toahospitalfrom May2O21 toMay2022 wereenrolled.According to thePitsburgh SleepQuality Index(PSQI) score，they were divided into non-insomnia group (PSQI≤7 points， n=53 )and insomnia group (PSQIgt; 7points， n=55 ).General clinical characteristics，glucose and lipid metabolism indexes，and serum levels of ICAM-1， ox-LDL，and VEGF were compared between the two groups，and correlations between PSQI total scoreand theabove-mentionedindicators were analyzed.ResultsThe insomnia groupshowedsignificantlyhigherlevelsof systolic bloodpressure (SBP)，fasting insulin(FINS)，homeostasismodelasessment-insulinresistance(HOMA-IR)，glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) ......
