    【Abstract】ObjectiveToanalyze thesedative efectand safetyofrimazolam tosylate combined with remifentanil in ICU patientsundergoing trachealintubation.MethodsAtotalof1OOpatientswho wereadmitedtotheICUoftheFifthAffliatedHospitalof ZhengzhouUniversityandunderwenttrachealintubationfromJanuary2O23toFebruary2O24wereselected. According to random number table，thepatientswere divided into propofol group(group P)and rimazolam tosylate group (groupR)，with 5O patients ineach group.Both groups werecombinedwithremifentanil(administeredasan intravenous bolus of 0.5μg/kg ，followed by a maintenance infusion of 4-9μg?kg^-1?min^-1 ).The positive responses to tracheal intubation wererecordedforboth groupsof patients，andthetimerequiredtoreachthesedationtargetandthemodified observer'sasessmentofalertness/sedation(MOAA/S)sedationscoreat2minutesafterdrugadministrationwerealsorecorded for both groups.The cardiovascular and respiratory parameters(heart rate[HR]，meanarterial pressure [MAP]. respiratory rate[RR]，and arterial oxygen saturation ?SpO₂? )were recorded at the following time points：before anesthesia (TO) ......
