有文献报道[4] DC细胞和CIK细胞共同培养比CIK单独培养杀瘤活性更强，且大大缩短培养时间。本研究采用DC细胞和CIK细胞联合细胞治疗148例老年晚期恶性肿瘤患者，并观察患者治疗前后的肿瘤标记物和免疫系统的变化规律，分析治疗效果，评估期安全性。
从 DC-CIK细胞治疗对患者的肿瘤标记物和免疫系统的影响来看，治疗前后肿瘤标志物下降64.9%，免疫细胞数量提高明显(P<0.05)。免疫球蛋白和相关细胞因子在免疫系统中也起着重要作用，在免功能变化评估中，本研究没有进行免疫球蛋白和相关细胞因子的检测，在以后的工作中会逐步开展。
通过疗效观察，回访时患者治疗后精神状态佳，自我感觉良好。DC-CIK细胞治疗后KPS评分提高的患者达到84.3%。综上所述，DC-CIK细胞联合治疗恶性肿瘤具有广泛的应用前景，目前，DC-CIK细胞治疗已经取得较好的临床治疗效果，毒副作用低，安全性好，预防和减少恶性肿瘤的转移和复发，为一些对手术、放疗、化疗已无适应症的患者提供了一种提高免疫功能，缓解和减轻临床症状，改善生活质量和延长患者生命的新途径 [5]。
