摘要：近年来，我国代谢综合征发病率明显升高，代谢综合征患者罹患糖尿病和心血管疾病的风险较正常人显著增加，防治代谢综合征迫在眉睫。本文探讨影响代谢综合征发生发展的关键因素，认为痰瘀互结是代谢综合征的病机关键，痰瘀贯穿于代谢综合征发生发展的各个阶段，同时也是代谢综合征各症候群的重要病理因素。临床注重从痰瘀论治，疗效显著。为从中医角度了解痰瘀与代谢综合征的关系，运用中医药对其进行防治提供了理论依据。
