摘要：鲜药的应用贯穿于中医药学起源和发展的全过程可谓历史久远。鲜药含大量自然汁，清热养阴之力优于干品，临床上不仅用于一般疾病还用于疑难重症。上海已故名老中医张耀卿、陈道隆凡治温热、伤暑、肺痈等证，每方必用鲜品。本文重点论述鲜生地黄在食疗药用等方面的应用价值和保存方法，意在加强人们对鲜药材在临床应用中的重视程度，把鲜药材这一传统中药精华传承并创新。
