    【摘要】冠心病在中医学属胸痹心痛范畴，基本病机为心脉痹阻，病理变化为本虚标实，虚实夹杂。范振域教授认为胸痹多发为老年人，年老多虚，其基本体质是发病的根本条件，脏器亏虚运化无力使瘀血痰浊内生为基本诱因，条件与诱因结合发为胸痹。治疗上应补其不足，泻其有余，以益气活血、化痰降浊为基本治法，根据病机特点对症用药，在冠心病不稳定性心绞痛的治疗中取得了较好的临床疗效。
