    【摘要】腰椎间盘突出症(Lumbar disc herniation，LDH)是指腰椎间盘发生退行性改变，在外力作用下，纤维环部分或全部破裂，单独或者连同髓核、軟骨终板向外突出，刺激或压迫神经根而导致的以腰腿疼痛为主的一种病理改变。随着当代人们工作方式与生活方式的改变，腰椎间盘突出症的发病率逐渐升高。根据流行病学调查，我国腰腿痛患病率高达1.5%～13.6%，而LDH患者至少占腰腿疼痛患者的10%。在临床诊疗工作中，中医药疗法在治疗LDH中彰显出极大优势。现结合相关文献报道，对临床采用中医药治疗LDH的方法及进展进行总结分析。
