Study on the Hypoglycemic Effect of Gnaphalium on Type 2 Diabetic Mice

    【Abstract】Objective：To explore the hypoglycemic efect of aqueous extract (TQ)of Gnaphaliumon type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM). Methods：After 40KM male mice were adaptively raised for one week，1O were randomly selectedas thecontrol group.Theremaining mice wereraised with high sugarandhigh fatcombinedwith tail vein injection of streptozotocin (STZ)at 40mg/kg to establish the T2DM mouse model. The mice with successful modeling were randomly divided into a model group，a positive group and an experimental group.The experimental group was given the aqueous extract of Gnaphalium at 8g/kg ，the positive group was given metformin at 0.03g/kg ，and the control groupandthe model were given thesame volume of distilled water.After continuous intragastric administration for 4 weeks，the random blood glucose，triglycerides and total cholesterol ofthe mice in each group weredetected.The changes in the body weight，food intakeand water intake of the mice were recorded.Results：Compared with that of the normal group ......
