【摘 要】 周国英教授认为，中医治病必当先追其根溯其源，而就消渴病肾病而言，其根本在于消渴，证型多见脾肾阳虚型。此证多表现为口干渴、多尿或夜尿频多、尿频尿浊、腰部酸软疼痛、四肢乏力冰冷或见麻木刺痛感、下肢水肿，舌淡胖多见有齿痕，脉沉细按之无力等。针对不同的病患，医者应首先审查阴阳的虚实程度、脏腑病位及病理因素的不同，梳理病机主次后，紧随病情的变化而灵活治疗，主要治法为健脾渗湿、温补脾肾，代表方有金匮肾气丸、五子衍宗丸等。此外临床常见有“瘀、湿、痰、毒”等病邪搏结，又以“瘀”之一字贯穿病程始终，故治疗时不可忽视血瘀的影响。
