    【摘 要】 芳香药物对于瘟疫的防治具有特殊作用，历来备受医家的推崇。建国以来在时有爆发的多种新型传染病防治中，芳香药物亦得到广泛运用。根据运用芳香药物防治疫病疾患的途径不同，主要分为香汤疗法、香熏疗法、香蒸疗法、香灸疗法、佩香疗法、涂香疗法与服香疗法等。芳香疗法防治疫毒的作用机制主要体现为芳香醒脾化湿以培正驱邪，疏肝行气而怡神畅志，开通窍闭以苏醒神志，并可辛散解表而宣泄透邪，避秽化浊以解毒驱邪等，以奏调护正气而却避邪气的功用。
