【摘 要】 元气这一概念始于道家学说，由哲学概念演变而来，后引入医学领域赋予理论内涵。元气理论初现于《内经》，后世医家对元气理论不断进行充实提高，并以此提出不同疾病的病机。李平教授基于中医元气理论，认为肿瘤有其独特病因病机，提出肿瘤病机新论，其中元气异常化生是瘤毒形成之根本，并用于指导临床治疗。文章对李平教授 “元气化生异常，内生瘤毒”理论之元气溯源及临床应用浅析，并基于元气渊源，结合西医学及临床经验，以图将会进一步推动元气理论的创新研究及临床应用。
