    Abstract：Lowbackpainisacommonclinicaldisease.TraditionalChinesemedicineexternal treatmenthavebecomeahighly anticipatedtreatmentappoachontreatinglowbackpainduetotheiradvantagesofeconomy，safety，andefectiveness.Thisarticle combinestheliteraturetointroducethetheoreticalbasisoftheconceptof“treating thewaistandabdomentogether”，analyzesheapplicationefectof raditionalChinesemedicineextealtreatmentmethodsguidedbythisconceptinthetreatmentoflowbackpain， emphasizes theindispensableroleofabdominalconditioninginthetreatmentoflowbackdiseases，aimingtoprovideabasisforclinical practice.
