    【Abstract】BackgroundRural doctors are the most convenient providersof community-based rehabilitativeservices forchronicdiseasepatientsand disabled peopleinruralareas，withthe promotionof graded diagnosis andtreatmentpolicies， people began topayatention tothecompetence ofcommunity-basedrehabiltative services amongruraldoctors.ObjectiveBy investigating the competence ofcommunity-based rehabilitativeservice among rural doctors，analyzing the shortageof competence，and providing referencesfor improving it.MethodsA multi-stage stratified clustersampling and purposive sampling methods wereusedtoselect3916rural doctors fromfive provincesineast，central，and westernChina.The survey wasconductedfrom JulytoAugust 2O20.Thequestionnaire mainlyfocusedoninvestigating the possesionofruraldoctors' competenceinrehabilitationfunctionassessmentandcommunityrehabilitationguidance，aswellas whetherthecompetence could meet their actual work needs.ResultsOf the 3 916 rural doctors surveyed，2 391( 61.1% ) ......
