    【Abstract】BackgroundGeneral practice played a crucial role in primary health care and its development had becomeakeymeasureto meet the growing health needsofthe population.Understanding theresearch hotspotsanddevelopment trendsin general practicecanbeter guide itsresearch.ObjectiveToanalyzetheresearch hotspotsanddevelopmenttrends n general practiceover thelast fiveyears，providing references forthedevelopmentof general practiceasadiscipline.Methods TheWebofSciencecorecollectiondatabasewasusedasthedatasourcetosearchforrelevantliteratureinthefieldof general practice from January 2019 to November2O23，andco-occurrenceanalysisof authors，countriesand institutions，co-cited literature cluster analysis，keyword cluster analysis and emergence analysis were performed using CiteSpace software.Results A totalof958Orelevantdocuments were retrieved.Researchon general practicewas mainlyconcentrated inthe United States， the United Kingdom and Australia.The Universityof Melbourne had the most publications ......
