Abstract: Vitiligo is the most common pigmented disorder in dermatology, and its etiology and pathogenesis are still unclear. At present, vitiligo is considered to be an autoimmune disease related to oxidative stress. In recent years, studies have shown that keratinocytes can secrete a variety of cytokines, which affect the normal survival and melanin synthesis of melanocytes through paracrine. When they are in a state of oxidative stress, keratinocytes can act as innate immune cells to initiate the immune response of the body and participate in the pathogenesis of vitiligo.
