    [摘要]形态和功能相互影响、相互制约是生物学的基本规律。颅颌面形态的正常发育有赖于口面肌肉正常生理功能，而异常的口面部肌功能是牙颌畸形的病因之一。纠正异常肌功能可以阻断牙颌畸形的发生，治疗是正畸矫治的重要内容，维持正畸治疗后的效果稳定更具有重要意义。本文将口腔肌功能异常与错牙合畸形的关系及口腔肌功能训练的研究及应用现状做一综述。
