[摘要]传统正畸正颌治疗模式包括“术前正畸-正颌-术后正畸”，而手术优先的正畸正颌治疗模式，则绕过术前正畸过程，缩短治疗时间，早期改善患者侧面美观。临床实践可知，手术优先正畸正颌治疗模式在骨性错牙合矫治的过程中虽取得了一些效果，但也有其弊端。本文就手术优先的正畸正颌治疗模式的发展、临床应用、优缺点等方面进行综述。
