【摘要】 随着医疗卫生体制改革的持续深化，为积极响应新时代的发展需求与人民群众的深切期盼，将习近平总书记提出的新思想、新观点、新论断全面融入医疗卫生体制改革的每一个环节与全过程。基于医疗卫生机构编制改革与发展医疗新质生产力之间的关系，探讨深化医疗机构编制改革的新方向。从目前医疗机构编制工作现状来看，提出从机构编制改革的政策方向、适应医疗体制改革的编制路径两方面来促进医疗新质生产力的蓬勃发展，进而实现医疗卫生事业的高质量发展目标。
