ADOLESCENT MENTAL HEALTH DIATHESIS: A STUDY OF MOTIVATION SYSTEM

Abstract
A part of the Adolescent Mental Health Diathesis Scale, the Motivation System Scale is used to investigate 44063 adolescents. The results shows:(1)In general, the state of adolescent motivation is good in China.(2)The grade trend of the motivation is found that Grade 1 junior school students have a little higher scores than do the Grade 5 primary school students. The scores of the Grade 2 junior school students are decreased gradually. The general scores present a tendency up and down. The Grade 3 junior students have the lowest scores, and the college students have the highest scores.(3)The different grade adolescent has significant differences on the diverse dimensions of motivation, but there were different developmental trends in different dimension.
