    【摘要】为探索中医适宜技术治疗腰椎间盘突出症的方法，以推动农村中医适宜技术的推广工作，我们于2007年1月~2007年12月运用中医适宜技术对确诊的农村腰椎间盘突出症急性期患者进行了治疗，并设对照组观察，应用中医适宜技术治疗农村腰椎间盘突出症急性期患者，治疗组有效率和满意率明显优于对照组，其操作性方便、易行、简单、安全有效、并发症少，病人痛苦少，费用低廉，有其他方法无法比较的优点，不需要特殊设备，适合于社区和在家庭中应用。
