     Qingdao has entered the aging society since 1987, 12 yearsbefore the whole country. The degree of ageing holds second placein China after Shanghai.In the next 20 years by 2030, the elder-ly population will double. By that time, the proportion of the elder-ly populationwiii reach 31.89%. It has been proven that the agestructures of population were positively correlated with chronicdiseases. So when the age structures of population are changing, itwill indirectly lead to the changes of medical consumer demand.There will be a stupendous medical demand by the ageing popula-tion in a short time in Qingdao. This study would investigate theimpact of the aging populatien to the health resource allocation.
