Coronary heart disease is one of the most serious diseaseswhich threatened to our health and coronary artery bypass grainingis the most effective methods to cure this disease. The surgicaltechnique of CABG under cardiopulmonary bypass has skilled, butcardiopulmonary bypass itself can cause some adverse health ef-fect such as inflammatory reaction, blood cell damaged, blood co-agulation mechanism, electrolytes disturbance and other organsdamage. With the performing CABG procedures without car-diopulmonary bypass support is to reduce the systemic inflamma-tory reaction induced by the cardiopulmonary bypass and the dam-age of other organs. But a study showed that the main reasons ofcausing inflammatory reaction of CABG is not the application ofeardiopulmonary bypass but surgical trauma itself. Therefore, this study was designed to assess the isolated cardiopulmonary by-pass-induced effects on the myocardium in patients with coronaryartery disease by comparing beating heart coronary artery bypassgraining with and without cardiopulmonary bypass support.
