    本文较完整地总结了管遵信教授应用“管氏肾病五联疗法”治疗慢性肾衰的主要学术思想。管教授认为慢性肾衰的病机极为复杂，病位虽在脾肾两脏，但病情进展会出现种种危重病象，五脏六腑均可受累。治疗本病应立足整体，从脏腑、经络、阴阳、气血入手，察其不衡以调之，临证时针、灸、药并举，重用灸法，身心同治；临床辨治还重视中西医结合、病证结合，对慢性肾衰常常按现代医学对慢性肾衰的不同分期进行分期辨治，同时根据原发病的不同分病辨治。
