    [摘要] 女性绝经期后雌激素水平下降使心血管疾病的发生率逐渐增高，研究人员曾用雌激素替代疗法来缓解这一现象，但临床资料表明其产生的副作用，如乳腺癌、子宫内膜癌的发病率却随之增加。因此，人们积极寻找一种既能保护心血管功能又无副作用的化合物。植物雌激素因具有拟雌激素样作用且没有明显增加乳腺癌、子宫内膜癌的发病率这一优势，备受研究者的关注。明确植物雌激素对心血管疾病的作用机制，可为预防及治疗女性绝经后心血管疾病提供新思路。本文就近几年来，植物雌激素生物学特性及对心血管疾病作用的研究总结进行综述。
