陕西地区医学生口语学习动机现状及其对大学英语教学的启示
钟艳++钟传洪[摘要] 本文采用问卷调查和访谈的方法,通过统计分析,对陕西省某医学院校医学生的英语口语学习动机及其主要影响因素进行了调查。结果显示,医学生口语学习动机强度不高,口语水平较低,普遍具有较强的口语学习意愿和积极的学习态度,但付出的努力却很少,女生并不比男生更努力。交际自信心不强、缺乏英语思维方式和口语学习评价机制是影响医学生口语水平提高的主要因素。根据本文调查结果,笔者建议大学英语教学应注重培养学生英语思维能力,制订相应的口语学习评价机制,通过兴趣培养及丰富第二课堂等方式,激发学生口语学习动机,提高英语交际能力。

[Abstract] To research on medical students' motivation in oral English and its main influencing factors, this investigation is carried out by means of questionnaires and interviews with some medical students in a medical university of Shaanxi Province. Data are analyzed statistically. It is found that medical students have low motivation in oral English, poor spoken English, and make few efforts to improve their speaking competence even with strong desire and positive attitudes, and that girl students are not more diligent than boys. Low confidence and lack of English thinking mode and performance evaluation systems are the main influencing factors hindering the improvement of medical students' oral English.
