    [摘要] 以问题为基础的教学法(PBL)自引入到我国高等医学教育中，在提高教学质量和学生的综合素养方面具有显著作用。本文对美国高等教育开展现状、我国开展PBL教学的必要性和实施过程中存在的问题及解决方法等方面予以介绍。通过美国高等教育对我国医学教育的启示，以期解决该教学法在具体实践过程中，不容易被教师、学生适应和接受问题，并为国内同行开展教育教学提供借鉴和参考。相信随着经验积累和问题的解决，最终提高教师对高等教育教学方法和规律的理解，达到培养创新型医学人才的目的。
