[摘要] 同其他工作一样，我国的妇幼健康工作也存在区域不平衡现象，西藏尤其突出。西藏的妇幼健康核心指标均低于全国平均水平，这与其工作基础薄弱、自然环境恶劣、人力资源缺乏、专业技术不足、服务质量不高等因素有关，也与传统文化的影响有关。本文介绍以宗教文化为核心的西藏传统文化的特点和对健康、疾病、生死的认识，分析西藏饮食文化和婚育文化对妇幼健康及服务利用的影响，并根据西藏的饮食文化和婚育文化特点提出工作建议，以提高西藏妇幼健康服务的利用率，从而改善西藏的妇幼健康状况。
