The control group was treated with hot therapy, and the treatment interval was 1 day. The two groups were treated for 2 weeks. After the study, the eligible cases in the intervention group and the control group were 102 and 106 cases respectively, the curative effects, VAS score, SF-36 score and safety indices of two groups were used to evaluate the results. Results The curative effect of the intervention group was better than that of the control group(P<0.001). There was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05). There were significant differences in VAS scores between the two groups at the 2nd week and the fourth week after the intervention (P<0.001). There were significant differences with in the two groups before intervention, 2 weeks after the intervention and 4 weeks after the intervention(P<0.05). In addition to the emotional function and social function, the SF-36 scores of the two groups were statistically difference after intervention(P<0.05). In this study, a total of 230 subjects were included in the study, the test ended a total of 22 cases fell off, the final completion of 208 cases. Throughout the trial, there was not have any significant adverse events. Conclusion Cupping treatment for low back pain in patients with orthopedic bedridden has remarkable curative effect, high safety, and short-term curative effect is better than hot compress treatment, can effectively relieve the symptoms of lumbar back pain and improve the quality of life., 百拇医药(张秦娥 赖震)
