    The value of D-dimer and procalcitonin in determining the condition of septic arthritis

    [Abstract] Objective To explore the clinical significance and value of D-dimer and procalcitonin in determining the severity of septic arthritis infection. Methods The data of 71 patients with septic arthritis treated in our hospital from January 2018 to June 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. These patients were judged whether also had sepsis based on the blood culture results， and divided into the general infection group and the sepsis group. The differences of D-dimer and procalcitonin between the two groups were compared， and the clinical significance of D-dimer and procalcitonin in determining the condition of septic arthritis were analyzed.
