    Abstract： With the improvement of living standards and health awareness，the health food market continues to expand.However，ilegal businessesadd chemical drugs to health food for profit，which seriously threatens consumer health.This article elaborateson the common types of ilegal additives in health food，and summarizes the applications of chromatography-mass spectrometry，surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy， immunoassay， and biosensor technology in detecting illegal additives in health food. It proposes selecting appropriate detection technologies based on the characteristics of diferent types of health food， which is of great significance for ensuring consumer health and safety and promoting the healthy development of the health food industry.
