    〔摘要〕 根据中焦脾胃“化”为主要功能的作用特点，得出恶性肿瘤是中焦失能的结果，而前列腺癌的发生与脾胃失能的关系更甚。桂枝汤调和阴阳，具象中焦，以桂枝汤为基础的方药调理中焦恢复脾胃“化”的功能，能益肾水而消癥瘕，对于晚期前列腺癌具有较好的治疗效果。
