〔摘要〕 神经炎症几乎发生在所有中枢神经系统疾病的进展过程中，随着临床实践及科学研究的深入，发现黄连及以黄连为主要组成的中药复方对减轻神经炎症、改善疾病预后均有较好效果。基于对“气味厚薄”理论内容的梳理，阐明黄连具有“大苦大寒，味厚气薄”的作用特点，并论述黄连功效与神经炎症中医病机之间的关联，以及黄连通过清心、厚肠、坚肾阴3个方面起到减轻神经炎症的作用机制。
