〔摘要〕 性早熟是儿童常见的内分泌疾病之一，也是严重阻碍儿童健康成长及心理健康的疾病之一。目前，西医治疗本病使用促性腺激素释放激素类似物，但临床实际运用该类药物时有明显的局限性。国家级名中医舒兰教授认为，性早熟的基本病机为肾之阴阳失衡，“天癸”早至，并提出引起肾之阴阳失衡的原因不局限于肾脏本身，而在于脏腑之间生理功能联系失衡，以平衡脏腑功能、内外合治为基本治疗原则。内治以平衡脏腑为法，常用龙胆泻肝汤合知柏地黄汤、柴胡疏肝散合二陈汤、二陈汤合二至丸、黄连阿胶汤合两地汤等加减治疗;外治以消肿通络为法，常用玄明粉外敷或自制早熟贴治疗，并强调临证时需注重宣教开导、身心兼治。基于“平衡脏腑、内外合治”的思想为性早熟提供新的诊疗思路，并附临床验案一则。
