〔摘要〕 功能性便秘是一种常见的胃肠道疾病，会给患者带来诸多不适和困扰。短链脂肪酸作为一种重要的肠道菌群代谢产物，在肠道中扮演着重要的角色，对肠道健康、免疫系统、营养吸收等方面都具有重要影响，与功能性便秘的发生发展有着密切联系。近年来，中医药治疗功能性便秘的机制备受关注，通过综述相关文献，总结短链脂肪酸在调节肠道蠕动、促进粪便排泄等方面的作用机制，探讨其在中医药治疗功能性便秘中的应用前景，以期为临床进一步应用中医药治疗功能性便秘提供理论依据。
