〔摘要〕 甲状腺功能减退症是甲状腺激素合成分泌不足或甲状腺激素生理效应不足而导致的全身代谢性疾病，属于传统中医学“虚劳”“虚损”“瘿劳”范畴。从《伤寒论》六经辨证论治的角度来看，甲状腺功能减退症的发生发展等与三阴经密切相关。在《伤寒论》的指导下，结合甲状腺功能减退症的临床表现、病因病机，将甲状腺功能减退症早、中、晚期对应三阴经太阴里证、少阴寒化证、厥阴病证，采用中医的整体观念和辨证论治原则给予不同治法、方药进行治疗。
