    [Abstract]Goutyarthritis (GA)falls under the categoryofimpediment patern in Chinese medicine.Withthe deepening explorationofcolateraldiseasetheoryinChinesemedicine，theoccurrenceandprogressionofGAarecloselyrelatedto pathologicalchangesinthecollterals.Byanalyzingthepathogeesisofcold-dampnessimpedimenttypegoutyarthritis (CD-GA)at diferentstagesanditscharacteristicsicollteraldisease，tispaperdiscusesthediseasemechanismsintermsofthehidden pathogenicfactos，collteralobstruction，andcollteraldamage，highlightingatcollteralpathologyservesasthepatological basisofCD-GA，withcoldacompaniedbydampness-turbidityinvasionbeingthekeytrigerBasedonthetheoryof\"collateral disease-fortifyingyang\"，thisstudyelucidatesthetherapeuticefectsofGuizhiFuziDecoctionasacoreformulaforfortifyingyang andunblockingcollateralsintreatingCD-GA.Thefollowingmechanismsandtreatmentsareproposedasfollows.Asymptomatic hyperuricemiastage：Pathogenesisinvolvesdampnesslurkinginthecollteralstreatmentfocusesonforifingyangdispeling dampnessandunblockingolaterals;Acutegoutattacksage：Pathogensisinvolespathogenbructingeollteralsreatt prioritizes fortifying yang ......
