    [Abstract]Asglobalenvironmental polutionintensifies，the healthimpactsofparticulatemater(PM) havegarnered significantatention.PMentersthelungsthroughtherespiratorytract，trigeringaseriesofpathologicalchangesandprofoundly afectinghuman metabolicprocesss.Thisreviewsummarizestheapplicationsof metabolomics technologyininvestigating lung injuriescausedbydiferentPMcategoriesandtheinterventionswithChinesemedicine，aiming touncoverpotentialbiomarkersof PM-induced lung damage and elucidatethe protective mechanisms of Chinese medicinethroughregulationof metabolic pathways.
