[Abstract] Objective To explore the effect of preoperative pain care on postoperative pain in patients undergoing abdominal surgery. Methods 120 patients undergoing abdominal surgery in the hospital from January 2016 to February 2018 were convenient selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group, including 62 cases in the control group and 58 cases in the observation group. Patients in the control group were given routine preoperative care. Patients in the observation group received preoperative pain care based on routine preoperative care. At the end of the surgery, the differences in the degree of postoperative pain and the degree of satisfaction with the pain control of the medical staff were observed and compared between the two groups. Results The postoperative pain levels of the two groups were all relieved to varying degrees. The severe pain rate in the postoperative pain grading was significantly lower in the observation group (8.62%) than in the control group (24.19%) (χ2=4.12,P<0.05); The patients in the observation group had a significantly higher rate of pain (39.66%) than those in the control group (14.52%) (χ2=4.91, P<0.05); the patients in the observation group were satisfied with the pain control of the medical staff ( 94.83%) was higher than the control group (79.03%) (χ2=4.03, P<0.05). Conclusion Pain care before abdominal surgery patients can significantly reduce the patient's pain after surgery and improve the patient's pain control to the medical staff satisfaction, which is worthy of promotion and application in the clinic.
