[Abstract] Objective Patients with distal radius fractures were treated with trauma pain care to understand the effect of the nursing method on patients. Methods A total of 76 patients with distal radius fractures who were admitted to the hospital from May 2017 to May 2018 were convenient selected and enrolled. After admission, patients were randomLy divided into groups, and the indexes of time of getting out of bed, average length of stay, and fracture recovery time were compared between the control group and the observation group. The nursing satisfaction of patients in the two groups was compared. Results The time to get out of bed (3.1±0.7) d was significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group (6.2±2.5) days, the difference was statistically significant(t=4.854, P<0.05). The average length of hospital stay in the observation group (10.9±2.6) d was significantly lower than the control group (15.1±3.5) d,the difference was statistically significant(t=7.621, P<0.05); the fracture healing time (48.5±3.4) d of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (74.1±2.8) d,the difference was statistically significant (t=9.874, P<0.05); the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 94.7%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (60.5%). The difference was statistically significant(χ2=12.806, P<0.05). Conclusion The orthopedic trauma pain nursing model is a new clinical nursing model. It is applied to patients with distal humerus. The perioperative stress response is reduced, the patient's nursing comfort is improved, the pain level is reduced, and the patient is investigated. Most patients expressed their recognition of pain care, which is beneficial to change the status of distal radius fractures and has clinical application value.,
