    [Abstract] Objective： To explore the effect and safety of external washing with self-made Huangdan Decoction combined with blue light in the treatment of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. Method： A total of 400 neonates with hyperbilirubinemia admitted to our hospital from April 2019 to April 2020 were selected as the study subjects. According to the principle of random drawing， the patients were divided into control group and study group， 200 cases in each group. The control group was treated with blue light， the study group was combined with external washing of self-made Huangdan Decoction on the basis of the control group. The clinical effects of the two groups were observed， serum total bilirubin levels before and after treatment and the occurrence of adverse reactions during treatment were compared between the two groups.
