【摘要】 单纯疱疹病毒性脑炎是全球最常见脑炎之一，具有高病死率和致残率，严重危害人类健康，及时发现、明确诊断和早期治疗是关键。随着对单纯疱疹病毒性脑炎病理机制研究地不断深入、医疗检查手段的多样化，提高了疾病的诊断效率和准确性，为早期启动治疗提供可能，临床药物的应用研究为改善患者预后提供保障。本文就单纯疱疹病毒性脑炎的病理生理及发病机制、临床表现、诊断及治疗予以综述。
