    [Abstract]Objective： To investigate the effects of Xiaoqinglong Decoction on neuropeptide substance and airway mucus hypersecretion in patients with bronchial asthma.Method： A total of 160 patients with bronchial asthma admitted to Women and Children's Medical Center Affiliated to Guangzhou Medical University from October 2022 to September 2023 were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method， with 80 cases in each group.The control group received conventional western medicine treatment，and the observation group received Xiaoqinglong Decoction on the basis of the control group.The control effect of bronchial asthma， pulmonary function indexes [forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV) and FEV/forced vital capacity (FEV/FVC)]，allergic reaction indexes[eosinophil (EOS)and immunoglobulin E(IgE)]，neuropeptide substance[substanceP(SP)and vasoactine intrestinal peptide (VIP)] and airway mucus hypersecretion indexes [mucin 5AC (MUC5AC) and mucin 1 (MUC1)] before and after the treatment between two groups were compared.Result：The total efective rateof theobservationgroup wassignificantly higher than that of the control group ......
