    [Abstract]Objective： To explore the guiding value and application significance of procalcitonin (PCT)， interleukin-6 (IL-6)，Creactive protein(CRP)andlactatedehydrogenase (LDH)levels in the treatmentof respiratory tract infection in children.Method：Atotal of120childrenwithrespiratory tract infections treated inthe Second People's Hospital of Jingdezhen from January 2022 to September 2023 were selected， and they were randomly divided into two groups， with 60 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventionalantibiotics， while the observation group was guided by the levelsof PCT，IL-6， CRP， and LDH for antibiotic treatment.The clinical symptomsdisappearancetime，totaleffctiverateoftreatment， antibioticusetimeandantibioticuserate were compared between the two groups，andthelevels of PCT， IL-6，CRPand LDHbefore and after treatment between the two groups were compared.
