    [Abstract]Objective： To explore the clinical characteristics of children undergoing abdominal surgery in pediatric intensivecare unit (PICU)andanalyze the influencingfactors of weaning outcomes.Method：Thecase data of535 crticallyillchildrenundergoing abdominal surgeryadmitted toPICUofJiangxiProvincial Children'sHospital from September 2019 to August 2023 were retrospectively analyzed， andthe age and disease type distribution characteristics of children underwentabdominal surgery were statisticaly analyzed.Among the 535 children， 428 cases used ventilator.According tothe weaning outcomes within 48hafter extubation，children whoused ventilator were divided into successful weaning group ( n =396) and weaning failure group ( n： 32).
