    [Abstract]With the acceleration of ageing of global population， the senile hypertension comorbidity are becoming increasingly prominent，which significantly increases the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE).Hypertension， as the core component of cardiometabolic multimorbidity (CMM)，its comorbidity status further increases theriskofcardiovascular diseases.This paper comprehensivelyreviews thelatestresearch progress on the correlationbetween senilehypertensioncomorbidity and MACE，soasto providetheoreticalbasis forfurther optimizing the management strategy of senile hypertension comorbidity and improving the healthy life span of the elderly.
