    [Abstract]Objective： To compare and analyze the clinical efficacy and safety of Pediatric Compound Sulfamethoxazole and Azithromycin in the treatment of pertussis in children.Method： A prospective study was conductedon 118childrenwithpertussis from January 2021to January2024 in Ailiated YuduHospitalof Gannan Medical University.They were randomly divided into an experimental group (59 cases)anda control group(59 cases). The control group received Azithromycin treatment， while the experimental group received Compound Sulfamethoxazoletreatment.The clinicaleffect，disappearance time of clinical symptoms，bloodroutine indicators [white blood cell count (WBC)， percentage of lymphocytes (LYM % )， platelet count (PLT)]， inflammatory factor [tumor necrosis factor- α (TNF -α )， interleukin-4 (IL-4)， interleukin-8 (IL-8)]，incidence of adverse reactions ......
