    [Abstract]Bone nonunion is a relatively common clinical problem in orthopaedics，which is prone to cause limbdysfunctionandpsychologicalburden topatients，seriouslyreducing thequalityoflifeofpatients.Thetreatment of bone nonunion has become one of the hot and dificult issues in clinical research.Platelet rich plasma (PRP)as a novel therapeuticto，hasshowngoodclinicalresults inthe treatmentofbone nonunionandcan promote fracture healing.This paper reviews the properties and mechanism of actionof PRP，the currnt status ofPRPin the treatment ofbone nonunion，the shortcomings of PRPand the future prospects of itsapplication byreviewing the domestic and international literature.Inorder to increase healthcareawarenessofPRPforthe treatmentofbone nonunion.
